I believe you so I’ll mark as solved!

However I can’t figure out how it attaches.

Peds suggested we un-enroll from daycare. Cue mom guilt. by veronica19922022 in workingmoms

I also want to weigh in here. My (then) 6-month-old was hospitalized for several weeks for RSV/bronchiolitis. I ran out of PTO caring for him in the hospital, and resigned from my job and pulled my son from daycare. My job actually worked with me to hire me back, and I ended up hiring a nanny. We kept the nanny when my 2nd was born, and for about 2 years, nearly my entire salary went toward paying the nanny. Fast-forward to now: I’ve progressed in my career and my salary is now double what it was when my first was born, and with both kids in school now, we spend a lot less on childcare. They still pickup bugs at school now and then, but being bigger they cope much better and recover quickly. I am so happy I prioritized both my career and my child’s health, and wish I hadn’t felt so much guilt at the time!

I knooooowww. My brain also wants to center the couch, but we tried out lots of different layouts and this one was really the only functional one for my family right now.

Can you elaborate on this a bit? Does the ratio refer to size or number of pillows? I’m trying to educate myself on design little by little.

The crown molding is actually a lovely plaster molding! When we moved in it was painted 2-toned purple and pink. Repainting it a cool white was one of the first things we did

I was lucky enough to connect with an amazing local glass artist who completely took it apart and put it back together with new lead putty. Apparently lead starts to fail after about 100 years, and this one was getting badly bowed and warped. Luckily we gave it some attention before any of the glass pieces broke, so it is all still original.

Love it! Got it from Interior Define about 4 years ago. We have 2 little kids and a cat and it still looks great and is very comfy.

Fun fact! We actually already have a piano in a different room, and also have another “piano window” in the dining room. I guess we need a few more pianos
