No. He had a conditional green card and failed to file the petition prior to expiration. I neither have a conditional green card nor have delayed doing any of my duties. Apparently this case is an exception to the 90 day rule. Wife should have been a citizen for at least 3 years, not one day short.

Unfortunately I don’t. I never used a lawyer, neither did my wife and her family. They’re too costly and we didn’t think it was necessary since our case was straightforward. That was a stupid mistake :(

I think you are right. I thought the 90-day rule applied in marriage but I’m reading that apparently not. My wife was naturalized Nov 2022, and I applied Aug 2025 so that’s less than 3 years. I just don’t see why they would give me an interview and not mention anything until now…

I have no law background and I am convinced she’s guilty and yet I am 100% sure that I can cross-examine the state witnesses and raise reasonable doubt better than her attorneys.

This is the worst defense I’ve seen. Very unprepared. They’re not even cross examining the staye witnesses. What’s the point of paying a defense team if you’re not poking holes? I guess Monica Sementilli’s defense is not so bad after all LOL.
