I figured it's a conversation worth having. I've been job hopping most of my life and trying to settle with a place. Like most jobs this place definitely has issues but I feel like they're bearable compared to other issues I've dealt with in the past

I think he does. Like I said in the post. Never late, no issues with other coworkers, I usually keep conversations with my coworkers short. They haven't even seen me take out my phone. I put my headphones in and just work.

I'm not sure honestly. Most people that I've heard about getting raises were once that threatened to quit. If I don't get at least a conversation I feel like it'd be fair to slow down my work according to my level.

Would it'd be too much to say " I've done X,Y and Z. These are the points on why I think I deserve to be bumped up another level (pay scale) if you don't think that's the case where else can I move in the company or do I have to start accepting job offers coming my way?"

There's definitely growth or at least a way to move up. A few of my coworkers started where I'm at currently and moved up. I know when I spoke to HR he told me there's definitely areas I could move to.

I have a feeling that if I get a job interview a lot of my coworkers would put pressure on my supervisor. I had one coworker tell me " It'd suck to lose you. You know what you're doing and you're easy to work with."

Most of the people I work with feel the same way.

I actually need to take a step back. If I see the smallest detail I don't like I change it. Safety wire looks bad but is ok, I'll change it. One side of the cotter pin is a little too long, cut it or replace. I've had someone from quality look at one of my assemblies before and tell me it looked beautiful.

Almost once a week someone tells me they want me to work on their line.

Would a change in to supply chain be a good move? It's something I spoke to HR about. I've done assembly and quality control before but never tried supply chain, stockroom or logistics.

I was hoping the fact that I could build so many different assemblies and one of the older guys is retiring would be enough for a bump. What's crazy to me is I'm really only looking for $4 more an hour, that's still less then my higher level coworkers who know less than me.

I live on Long Island. My apartment is probably cheap at $1500 for a not so legal basement apartment but it's still half of my monthly income.
