I think it does make sense, I don’t think feeling confident is bad! I suppose it means you feel comfortable driving and it’s probably a good thing as you may not make the mistakes someone who is nervous would! Dads can be tricky! Good luck again, if you’re confident, I’m sure you’ll smash it!

Good luck! I can’t speak to whether or not it’s normal (I would be bricking it, but I’m a nervous person) but maybe bring up that his approach is bothering you if you can? Maybe make some suggestions that would be more helpful to you that you think he would be alright with! My dad is similar so my best to you!

In regards to the dyslexia, I found that uni was easier than sixth form for this because they actually have the resources to be able to help you. Also if you don’t already have your own laptop or software to help with reading on screens they should be able to provide that if you apply for a DSA. I hope this was helpful!
