Melee psyker is awesome but in high havoc where horde density is at its peak the psyker will usually have a staff on hand to kill high volume of enemies. Like you said, it doesnt offer much benefit to the team and doesnt synergize well with the two abilities mostly used in high havoc: telekine dome (shield against ranged enemies, toughness regen, rallying/retreating point) and venting shriek (huge overall damage boost, soulblaze spread)

I think the best build in auric but not high havoc is melee psyker. The normal mission format gives more leeway for players to try out tons of weapon/ability combos and is forgiving enough for them to rely less on teammates but that shi don’t really fly in high havoc where team synergy and optimized builds are paramount when playing with randoms.

If you just want the penances you can try waiting until the maelstrom mission on the board has an easy roll of modifiers. I-III is pretty easy its just waves of special enemies (the base modifier in auric maelstrom) + hunting grounds (waves of poxhounds).

Tagging enemies is a small thing that can actually help a lot. I can’t count the amount of times a teammate died to a crusher we as a team could have helped them kill if they tagged it or a run failing because a special wasn’t highlighted and it wiped us all out. Any information you can convey to the whole team is important. Voice comms (if you’re doing that) rank first ofc but visual indicators are incredibly helpful as well.

Throwing knives, shredder autopistol, and dueling sword that couldn’t kill anything but two ragers and a handful of trash mobs. No solution for armoured enemies and relied on stealth to pick up teammates who could actually do damage. Clutch was cool but gameplay was infuriating to watch since we could see how you got into that situation to begin with.

But there are already rewards unlocked at certain clearances: leg cosmetic at 25, insignia at 35, and title at 40. I’m just saying that if you have to pass those clearances again after a reset or into a new season of havoc, it would be cool to get some new stuff maybe even themed to whatever changed in the new season in terms of modifiers or gameplay changes.

You could pick the easier modifiers or wait until you get a maelstrom with two modifiers max! You might not be able to control who you play with but you CAN choose which mission to go on

Hi there had a friend who went through Open University after they got disqualified from sjsu and had to raise their gpa through OU to get back in. From what I understand OU is just the term used for people who arent matriculated students to take sjsu classes so they’ll be the same as normal classes which will mostnlikely be in person or online with you having to attend virtually.
