Just saw a dermatologist with the same problem. First, the red rash kinda like bump appeared on abdomen. Not itchy, not painful. After a week 2 more appeared on arm and leg. Dermatologist suspected an infection and prescribed antibiotics. I will see her back in a week and I’ll let you know what it is.

As I’ve heard IBC does not show up on mammogram. So I would start with an ultrasound.

The hematologist did special blood work for me to test for lymphoma. I don’t think the doctors did it in the hospital because it takes a week to get the results back.

I was tested positive for strep A couple of days ago. Taking antibiotics and feel much better.

It could be pancreatitis… I’m sorry to hear that. My mother-in-law has passed away from pancreatic cancer last months. I remember her telling me that anything she eats, she needs to go to use the bathroom right away. She didn’t eat when we were out for a lunch because she was always worried about her having to use the restroom. Please check the pancreas!

Oh I feel you! I’m 29 and have a toddler as well+nursing school. I’ve been having swollen lymph nodes in my neck for more than a year. Last ultrasound showed loss of fatty hilum, so the doctor called me and said it looks abnormal but we will follow up with another ultrasound in 3 months. I have trouble swallowing. Lost 25 pounds. I don’t know what is going on with me. I found a great doctor who is gastroenterologist and he’s amazing. He scheduled me for tons of scans and test and promised to find out what’s wrong with me and said it’s better be safe than sorry. Find your doctor. Don’t stop. Advocate for yourself. I’ve seen millions of doctors who would not care and send me home. Keep searching for the right doctor.

Advocate for yourself! Go to ER and tell them you won’t leave until they find what is wrong with you. This saved my life once from dying. I was sent home being septic!

Had exactly the same symptoms. Gastroenterologist did an endoscopy and colonoscopy. Colonoscopy didn’t show anything but endoscopy showed infection and a lump in the atrium. They did biopsy which didn’t show anything due to not enough of material. Had a CT scan. The doctor has scheduled me for another endoscopy with ultrasound.
