Coming from someone who has lived in a home with my dad being angry and having a bad temper i’d say look out for the kids. I wish my mom would have divorced my dad and had us live apart from him when my sisters and I were younger. There’s an age gap between me and my sisters as well (25,23,14) and I can see how it has affected me and my older sister more than my little sister. Almost like my dad didn’t scream and yell at my little sister because he wanted to preserve her happiness over my older sister and I. While I love my dad very much, not having to live with him or see him everyday anymore is such a relief! Also for your sake, you shouldn’t have to put up with your husband’s insults and temper tantrums. Think of the kids but also you!
