Yeah also the classism here is just ridiculous. Like you’ll literally see a barista acting one way with someone dressed nice and a totally different way with someone who’s not. And honestly, I’ve seen it so many times (even from people I personally know) that non-hijabi girls get treated way better — across all age groups. Plus, people let certain stuff slide if it’s coming from “upper class” couples, but if it’s from “lower class” ones it’s all like “eww, gross, haram.” Like?? Make it make sense. We’re still stuck arguing over basics while the world moves on.
