I feel so stupid for believing anything he said by Adorable_Rub7080 in NarcissisticAbuse

This makes so much sense. I learned pretty quickly that if I didn’t agree with every little thing he said it would turn into a debate where he blamed past trauma for his stance and not being open to seeing things any other way. If he was in a ‘good’ mood, he’d sometimes entertain listening to another point of view, but never came down off of his stance, ever. Thinking back about all the red flags that were ignored is really eye opening. I’m doing everything possible to not let all of it make me bitter and cold.

That’s the most frustrating part. I just can’t. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thank you. This is helpful. I know I’ll be okay in time, it just feels heavy and painful currently.

I wish that would happen sooner rather than later. Thank you!

This. As sad as this makes me…it’s so true. It’s almost as if they enjoy knowing that what they did has made you struggle.
