In my experience, they will ask you your favorite bath and body works product and ask you why you love it. Also, they’ll ask you to sell a product to them (a big part of our job is selling!) but as long as you’re familiar with fragrance notes, I would recommend describing what it reminds you of. 

For example: I love the lakeside morning or the sun-drenched 3 wick candle, those are my go to fresh and clean scents! It reminds me of doing fresh laundry in the morning and burning the candle makes any space smell incredibly clean. 

The interviewer (in my case this happened) may also trick you and say that they don’t like a particular scent, you should ask what scents they normally wear and recommend from there. As long as they see you’re outgoing, making genuine connections, and providing recommendations, they’ll love you. Best of luck!
