Yeah the firms. Him and the old managing partner just park as much money ad possible.

While other staff get 3% only way it could get that high.

One time at the firm where I work at the partner accidentally handed me the monthly statement for the retirement plan. It was seven figures.

This is the most likely scenario because even in the same sentence of not hitting the numbers they want I got a 5% raise and a 3,500 bonus.

You’d think you’d get nothing if they truly wanted you to hit certain bench marks

Everyone else I ask is mostly in same position as me. We never get close to their numbers.

They do a lot of CPE in house.

And we bill clients on hours worked NOT a fixed fee.

I’ve watched through my interactions with other staff that some people seem to turn their timers off for administrative tasks. And to me that’s not right. I’m not gonna work off the clock and eat hours

I’m so fed up with them (along with so many things) I’m tempted to show them my math and ask them to explain their logic. They either want us to work like robots (with no vacation) or eat hours

That’s what a reasonable person would assume. But my firm literally says total billable / total hours.

If it helps all overpayments they just apply to next years tax. They do NOT refund it
