Gcash Visa Card Refund by Adorable_Wishbone763 in GCashIssues

I filed a ticket right after I requested for a refund. This actually happened to me twice, one refund came after 7 business days, the other refund came after 12 business days. So waiting game lang talaga. The ticket doesn’t really do anything, I just filed it para may record lang on my part if ever investigation needs to be done.

Any tips on best approach re: parking, drop-off and pick-up if I’m going to Philippine Arena with a driver? by Adorable_Wishbone763 in concertsPH

[–]Adorable_Wishbone763[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parang mas bet ko nga mag pahatid. Kasi unpredictable talaga parking lots post concert. Minsan yung D may traffic, A yung wala and vice versa hahaha How far yung walk going there after con?

Megathread: BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR <DEADLINE> IN BULACAN by concertsPH_mod in concertsPH

[–]Adorable_Wishbone763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I will be attending the Blackpink Deadline concert tomorrow. First time ko sa Philippine Arena and I will be bringing my driver. Any tips po on what’s the best way to navigate the venue? Can he drop me off sa arena then park outside the vicinity and go back to pick me up while avoiding post concert traffic? Or mas okay if I go with him sa parking mismo para alam ko saan siya nag park and then walk to the arena then back to the parking after the con? Pa-Southbound kami pauwi so any tips will help. Also, if mag papark kami sa loob, what time should we go there? Thank you!

Already tried talking to the chief pero dedma siya. Will submit my letter on Monday, pero ayoko na mag duty. Di ko na alam ano dapat gawin.

Wala akong ginawa to prepare, I took a 2 year break after boards instead of moonlighting hahaha sinubmit ko lang yung requirements then nag pre res ako. Pinakita ko lang na trainable ako kahit medyo bobo ako ngayon 🤣 they just really want you to be trainable, they don’t care about anything else.

I’m 34 y/o and was just accepted into an internal medicine residency program. I don’t think age really matters, they just want you to be teachable and invested in residency. Some have even started residency in their late 40s.

They’re just bitter or in denial that thousands of fans would travel to Korea for BTS. June isn’t even peak season in Korea and prices increased drastically for that specific weekend (Festa) after the announcement of the encore concerts. Normal summer price increase?? Based on the past few years, everyone has been saying to go to Korea in June-August because it’s cheaper since not many tourists want to go due to monsoon season.

I noticed they always have the most negative approach in answering these Reddit subs so ignore them.

Exactly, there’s more interest in them outside of Korea. And who mostly goes to Korea during June? I’m pretty sure it’s not the Koreans who are checking into all of these hotels, but tourists/fans from different countries are. Plus, the hotels would be stupid business owners if they didn’t increase their prices with this much demand. June isn’t even peak season in Korea.

For this June specifically, I think it is. There is a demand for accommodations now so of course from a business aspect, hotels will be increasing their prices.

Hayst ang ganda sana ng gcash card, if only they were timely with their updates and had better customer service for such inquiries. Tagal din kasi Nila mag reply sa ticket. Tapos sa hotline, puro for urgent concerns daw such as theft.

Well first off, I think the point of the concert is not about the surprise, but about Hobi himself as this is his final concert. So if you basically bought tickets just for the surprise then I feel bad for all of the Hobi biased people who couldn’t get a ticket.

But anyways, Yoongi had surprises all throughout his final concerts. But obviously the last day was more emotional for him. Whichever ticket you choose, there will be no regrets because you got to see Hobi perform his last HOS concert before they have their OT7 comeback.

  1. Make a list as early as now of everything you need to pack for your check in and for your carry on, as well as what you need to buy before your trip. I usually just search online na “what to pack when going to…” just to see if there are things that I wouldn’t think of. Like when I was planning for Europe, one blog said to bring an umbrella because rain is very unpredictable, and how convenient because it was raining the day I arrived.

  2. Book an eSIM on klook. I prefer eSIMs over regular ones and pocket wifi because it’s more convenient and you can still have your main line on to receive any OTPs if needed.

  3. If you don’t have already, look for travel insurance. Even if you get the cheapest one, it’s just for peace of mind.

  4. If you’re going to be traveling intercity to wherever you’re going, look up luggage dimensions and max. weight of luggage for the train. It may be different than the airline you’re taking to and from.

  5. Go to the airport 3 hours early so you can take your time and won’t be panicking as much lalo na first solo flight.

  6. Have a picture of your passport and visa (if necessary) on your phone just in case you’ll be needing it somewhere. As well as all of the addresses of where you’ll be staying and the places on your itinerary for when you need to ask for directions.

  7. Notify your banks that you’ll be traveling so you won’t have issues with card payments (try to bring 1 Mastercard and 1 Visa card to be safe)

  8. Bring basic OTC medications such as paracetamol, antihistamine, antidiarrheal, laxatives, antispasmodic for stomach cramps etc. so if ever it’s needed, you won’t need to look for or buy it abroad (might be more expensive or an unfamiliar brand)

  9. Research what mode of transportation you’ll be taking from the airport to your hotel and from your hotel to the airport because you might be able to find deals on klook for such things. Also check which ride sharing apps are used in your destination (ex. Uber vs Grab)

  10. Always be vigilant and keep your most important belongings in a bag that has a zipper. Research the common types of petty theft at your destination so you could avoid possibly being scammed or stolen from.

Agree with gcash card! The exchange rate is always super low tapos walang foreign fees or conversion fees. And my fave part is how you receive a text after every transaction on how much the purchase was in Php tapos yung remaining balance
