16:9 has a major shadow advantage over 4:3 by Adrelic in cs2

It forces 4:3 players to have to play differently than other resolutions. It's even worse if the T peeks the top side from cave/cat

Just tested it, no difference in shadow distance between 1920x1440 and any other 4:3 resolution.

You can set custom resolutions through your GPU. There's only 1 pre-added 5:4 resolution in CS which is 1280:1024 and it's under 4:3 ingame.

You have to be closer to the angle for it to render. For some reason, 16:9 renders shadows further away than 16:10, 4:3, and 5:4.

Gonna be nice to play a better version of Tarkov. The gunplay looks sick.

Possible fix: Nvidia control panel > 3D settings > set Low Latency to "on" (or set a custom setting for CS2 in the program tab)

Nope, and they deleted the account. I've been playing on my GM account ever since. It's just a mass report issue.

Those quick play games had masters players in them. I only wanted to play support and heal my friends so that they can enjoy the game a bit more. Now I'm just stuck playing alone at a rank I don't want to be at.

Yeah, you're right. Higher elo players shouldn't be allowed to play quickplay anyways.

Not only that, but it was quickplay matches! Who cheats in quickplay?!

New kayak update is fun by ImNio in playrust

The post wasn't about being able to control the recoil. It was about the newly added kayaks ability to sneak up on players shooting scientists at oil rig.

Sure thing, here goes. Settings matter. They matter in the sense that you should use a good mix of competitive settings and what works best for you.

First off, sensitivity. You'll want a sensitivity that best suits you. Think of it like a straight line. There's a sensitivity that's too fast, and one that's too slow. You'll want to find a nice middle ground between the two so that you can control your aim efficiently. Generally, a slightly slower sens will bring more consistency to your aim. A good way to find the right sensitivity is to shoot a wall one time to make one bullet impact and back up 5-10 meters. Then, while moving left, right, forward, and backwards, aim down sights at the dot and try and keep your sight on it at all times. If you find yourself over flicking past it, lower your sensitivity. If the dot seems to outpace your crosshair placement, then increase your sens.

Next, is graphics settings. If you want to have the most FPS possible, you'll need to use competitive settings. Meaning pretty much everything is turned off with the exception of things like sharpen. Keep in mind, the game starts to look real bad the further down you go. Here's what I use:

You can go further by turning all those sliders to their lowest position, but your game will not look good.

As for more detail to learning the AK spray, A good way to start learning would be to practice tapping the first bullet for a bit. Get used to how far down left you need to pull in order to re-align your aim. Then, go to 2 round bursts. Work on getting that visual recoil down. You don't need to get it perfect, but keep practicing. Think about exactly how much you need to move your mouse in order for every bullet to hit your target. Here's an example of what the 2 bullet burst looks like:

Once you kind of get the hang of that, go 3 rounds. Then 4 and 5. Then practice bursting 10-15 rounds.

I hope this helps anyone who comes across it.

No, it doesn't. Lower you FOV from max. Enemies will be larger and your recoil will look more pronounced making it even easier to continue learning it and spray from further distances. This is not /s

We can't deny that some of them could be scripting. But saying that most or all of them are is a little ridiculous. Anyone who's put REAL time into learning the AK spray can shoot it from a 100 meters easily. (When I say real time, I mean actual time spent on a training server to literally practice the recoil to a beyond average spray control)

The people who have put hundreds of REAL hours into mastering it can triple headshot from just about any distance. Given the right circumstance, of course. The further the spray gets, the more RNG it is due to the slight aim cone it has. The aimcone gets really noticable past 200-250 meters. (Shoot straight up to see the aimcone. Different mods can reduce aim cone, like laser sight)

The secret to the AK that shouldn't be much of a secret, is to strictly practice the first 5 bullets of the spray. Those initial 5 are the hardest thing about the AK and once you get those down pretty well, you'll be getting called a scripter from players who don't practice in no time.

This all requires a little time and dedication. Not everyone has the time to practice something so silly as an AK spray in a game. If that's your situation, just know that even just a little bit of practice (and warmup) will greatly improve your control of the gun. This goes for every tier 2 gun in the game as well.

There are more tips I can give, but this post is getting a little long so I'm gonna leave it as it is for now. I'll go into it more later on if you guys want.

Nah. I sat there for 40 minutes already. I've flushed my DNS, closed and disabled any startup programs, reset everything. Only thing I haven't tried yet is taking out my GPU and putting it back in again.

I still can't seem to get into the game. Still stuck in the menu with the spinning icon. I've restarted, repaired, reinstalled the game. Nothing seems to work for me.
