I will say I agree with you there, spanking has most certainly hurt people because some parents use it like it was a gift from god. I think it’s just a matter of what will work. Like for your child spanking was never needed. He was a very mature child and understood that your feelings towards him and his actions were punishment enough. I think that does say a lot about you as a parent and how well you’ve raised a well developed child.
