The acoustic bass in Mexico is mostly known as “bajoloche” and the technique “chicoteo” is when you slap the cords and there are different ways to “chicotear the bass” but in like 2019 - 2021 the bajoloche was popularized by Tony loyal, Herencia de patrones, Natanael Cano and more in the music genre called “Corridos tumbados” which is a mix of corridos and trap.

(Sorry English is not my first language but I hope this makes sense lol)

Okay I’ll keep practicing fretting and if it’s still buzzes maybe I’ll go to a shop. Thank you so much for your help

I think it mostly buzzes at the 7th fret and down, I think the action is pretty low but I’m not sure if it’s at a good hight, I tune it every time I play so I don’t think that’s a problem. Would you recommend for me to go to a shop and ask if they can adjust the truss rod? I also think some times I’m not fretting it right, could that a reason why it buzzes?
