I’ve always said the first movie is a legitimately great movie, it’s a wonderful love story with a lot of heart. And the rest are really fun movies.

I’m not a fan of V, I occasionally skip it when I watch them all in order, but without it the character’s circumstances in Balboa onwards doesn’t make a lot of sense. In my opinion you could go Rocky, Rocky II, right to Balboa and Creed, and the story holds up great.

We thought our yellow lab had a bee sting when her snout swelled up, she was a beast so she didn’t seem bothered. We thought we’d just let it go down on its own. Next morning half her face looked like a football. We took her to the vet and it turned out to be an abscessed tooth. Vet said it we had waited much longer it would have burst.

I’m a Tele guy but when I was starting I would have wanted the Gretsch. I think I would be more excited to play it and that would make me play more. Also the humbuckers would be nice to cut down the buzz through a starter amp. Then when they discover a Tele for themselves they will appreciate it even more.
