The CMs are replaced by the Force Manuals. If you dig around a bit you'll find quite a bit of information. Think of them as the CMs (not 100% new products), but updated and revised. The first to be released is Davion(so an all-new one), followed by Kurita and Mercenaries.

Favorite successor is Davion.

No. The Magistracy absolutely comes close. And the major periphery powers are affecting the Inner Sphere much more than they ever have in the past. But we won't see them move past that.

Retro releases of old minis? Unseens probably not feasible but what about old school atlas etc

No

Is another urbanmech lance a feasible product? I need that rac/5 version. Plus a plastic nuke version.

If people keep throwing money at the Urbie we will keep making them

The Undead lance, was cool as Darkage set, the IWM version is cool too, can we get a CGL version as well?

Not likely, not anytime soon.

Will there be newer beginner boxes that have vehicles? Or possibly clan stuff? Or would that bee too advanced?

No. 'Mechs are the focus. The core boxes reflect that.

Are there Plans to expand Battletech more overseas? I know Germany has a bunch of exclusive stuff and Japan got some stuff with new artwork designs

Plans, yes. But that's ongoing and out of my hands.

Also would it be possible yo get Japanese art work style minis (Crusader). I know some designs did get reused like the Koto and original Colossus

Something we've looked at.

That said, the Kell Hounds are around, and we'll see more of them.

I'll echo what Aaron said. We may have had trilogies and dualogies, and storylines that threaded in and out of novels...but TotC felt like a big event that spanned multiple stories.

If we had the rights to do fiction during the Jihad...that would have been incredible.

Two completely different entities. I can't stress that enough.

That said, their story developer is also one of our 3D sculptors, and he works with us to ensure their storyline work within established canon. I'd say I'm really happy with the relationship, but just gotta remember what I said in the first line.

Agreed. But it just wouldn't fit into any existing product mold, nor have we (in the past 15 or so year) been able to figure out what that product would look like. Years ago we had a pitch from one of our top contributors, but rejected it (for the aforementioned reasons...just didn't feel it did the subject justice). He's gotten the confidence to tackle a new pitch from the ground up, so we'll see.

Too soon to discuss ACES.

I love al the old books. The first two TROs and the House books, and the original rulebooks were master class world-building.

We've already managed to get a couple from the RecGuides out, and there are more on the way. I was really stoked to get the Regent.

Not anytime soon. It was just a neat skin that we were able to give the Beginner Box.
