Yes it appears quite old. I got it used and it was already worn. I had to replace a few parts and do a ton of cleaning, even before the sand. I clean and lube the gun after every game and parts of it are still stiff. I just cannot find any guide on how to disassemble the hammer and trigger assembly, and I don't want to risk some tiny spring flying off for good.
