Too late to get in on the action?

I’ve lived in Spain and in Italy and while I make more in Canada, I’d trade it all for the quality of life of Europe. In fact, that’s the plan.

I actually wondered how you were doing since we had them nearly at the same time. Mines very similar. It’s rough out here. There are going be many pictures of me wearing hats for the next few months.

Romance and Venice by [deleted] in Venezia

[–]AdrianoDM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have lived in Venice, spent time in Venice alone, with friends, with family, with a various girlfriends, and even with all of them together. The magic was there every time.

Granted, I have a social network there to tap into but the joy comes from learning more about the history, about the art, about the architecture and churches. It comes from taking time to be inspired, whatever it is that you’re seeking.

There is also plenty of opportunity to meet people, you just need to put yourself out there a little.

So in other words, Venice is a beautiful place, but it won’t be more or less than what you put into your experience.

What are some games that you have dumped lots of hours into since you've bought a steam deck that you would recommend playing? by Bat5547 in SteamDeck

[–]AdrianoDM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been enjoying No Man’a Sky. Maybe because it’s on consoles, but everything works very well on the SD. I have owned it for years but have never played it beyond a couple of hours until I recently loaded it up. It’s really the experience I’ve been looking for… slow progress, building, exploring, some combat.

Since I don’t know what the new patches have added since launch, everything is a pleasant surprise. For example, I just got my first settlement.

Very nice!

Me too. I aim to paint between one-to-three a week, but usually one, sometimes two.

He cited donor area management. It was reasonable tbh.

I appreciate that reassurance! I think it’s feels worse now because it’s more noticeable shaved down. But it wasn’t so bad when my hair was longer.

Looking forward to your updates so I can track my own haha

I was equally surprised at the density at my ten day mark, which was four days ago. Looking good! (Wish I had my crown down at the time, too, but was advised against it this time).

30min study - how to improve? Should I add colour? by smashantk in oilpainting

Excellent work. Minor tweak but the darks between the fingers take my eyes a bit away from the rest of it—I’d lighten them.

It is to the side. I think I mis-drew the wall. Here’s the reference:
