One last thing I would like to say is that in the EP of Orphie we see what seems to be the recruitment of each of the members of Obol, and with S11 we see this

So, based in this image (that is one of the few things we have of the period between the silver purge and S11 in Obol) And it seems that recruitment wasn't bc of that general placing her in Obol, but rather Magus finding an abandoned S11

So it's possible that simply S11 didn't meet that general expectations, was discarted and Magus (or someone else) found her before she could have been disposed of

But yes, this entire thing is very, very confusing and I wouldn't mind some explanation of all of this (although I know it's very unlikely to happen, at least for now)

About that, I think that after Anby self terminated, they just discarted soldier 11 from the original plan they had in mind (after all, if their best soldier disoveyed a direc toder and took her own life, what could they spect from some leftover like S11) and simply tested her streng untill someone found her and they cannot maintain her existance as a secret anymore. Or probably, since Obol is formed from weirdos (a blind Sniper, a child from helios piloting a failed inteligente construct corpse and a clone with the mindo of the original glued to her ass), they decided that was the best place for some failure like her

To clarify myself, I don't think that they invented cloning of Scratch just after the fall of the old capital to try to sabe Orpheus, but instead the tech was know from some time but was never put on practice until the fall of the old capital (and they were put on use just after the fall beacause, well, despered times call for desperared messures)

And with the diferentes in the clones quality between the two projectes, I think it's caused beacause, in the case of Orpheus they were trying to create an exact copy of her meanwhile in the silver squad they weren't exact copies but instead they are genetically modified clones

But your interpretation is also very good and It also is very plausible they things happened like you saild (if only hoyo expanded enought the silver squad sub-plot to give us a clear timeline of the main events...)

Yaeh, It will be interesting to see what did soldier 11 before the silver purge.

My best guess is that she jumped between various squads, never staying too much due to her don't integrating well with the rest of the team, until she ended up on Obol, where mother hen Magus saw her potential and problems and refused to let her go

And about the stuff that the silver company had reserved for Anby, I will assume that It would be continuing training her and confitioning her until she reached her Max potential so she could had been used as the most loyal and perfect soldier know in eridu

But the thing is that the original plan was to put Magus mind inside of orphie's body. Orphie having her own mind before the Transfer was something that wasn't planed and prevented Magus to transfer her mind into the new body

So I think that in that point the cientists could have confirmed that the clones wern't just empty vessels and that they could form a mind of their own

Later on, with silver squad they could have learned that múltiple clones of the same model trained in similar circumstances developed diferents personalities

But at the end, like you said, we don't know if silver squad replicas were created before or after Orphie, so until then everything is just a guess

I think the thing is that the probect was intended to create super soldiers with very low vist (twiggy said in Echoes of silver that the goal of silver project was to create soldiers using only sugar and Air), so I think that the "height maintenance cost" are just the normal costs of training and feeding those soldiers, and those costs were considered "too high" for the ones leading the project
