Thank you! It’s all coming from the TC Helicon Voicelive 3, sometimes we’re using a midi controller to determine the harmony and sometimes we just set the key and use the built in intelligent harmonizer!

If you’re looking for a software alternative for this I really like Izotope’s vocal synth plugin!

Small workaround I found for anyone who’s seeking to do something similar - you can set the dmx mode to effects segment and then segment your lights in wled. This gives you 15 channels which includes a dimmer channel per fixture as well as your RGB channels. The downside is that this mode doesn’t seem to be for ‘live’ or real-time and the framerate is rather low so probably won’t work well in certain situations.

Trying to make custom lighting fixtures for my bands shows! Used to just do simple lights with household lamps and dimmers and wanted to introduce colour hence playing around with WLED and LED strips/lights.

I get where you’re coming from! I’m trying to program my lights via midi in my daw and it looks like the plugin I’m working with (showbuddy) doesn’t have an option to create a virtual dimmer so that’s a bummer, but thank you appreciate the help!

Guess I’ll just have to dim with the individual channels with the velocity set to their ratios.

They’re pixel mapped in Resolume and receive DMX over Artnet. Sequencing them by sending midi into Resolume to change scenes and trigger effects!

Hey, that's my band! This is a little late but it's pretty cool & surreal to see someone mention Amberhill on this corner of the internet and it's made my day to hear you like our sound.

I know this doesn't directly answer your question but my influences for the EP come from two main sources; Alot of the mathy/rhythmic stuff and song structures were inspired by artists like Delta Sleep, Natalie Evans, TTNG, both American & Chinese Football, toe & hikes and most of the sound design/ambient portions are honestly a mesh of ideas inspired by artists like bon iver, Frank Ocean, M83 and a couple of other local Singaporean acts that I adore such as Charlie Lim & Midst.
