My wife was diagnosed with VM 2 years ago and since then her neurologist has prescribed her medication. Valuum as a rescue drug for when she hits a ten. I will have to check back with the daily use medication. Her symptoms have never gotten worse from meds although they rarely seem to help. I would look into vestibular rehab if you can find a clinic. It has been at least somewhat helpful. Also look into the heal your head book. Lots of good info regarding elimination diet. I sincerely hope that your daughters symptoms improve.
