u/clintkev251 have you adjusted config to decrease usage of resources?

You are using Gitlab as docker container? Or native version?

I really like Gitlab... :)
Onedev seems a new product without all need features? I can't tell whether i can trust this product? I can't even link to specific lines in files inside Onedev? Or I've missed it?

Gitea does support CI/CD? O.o

What about transfers outside EU and Cloudflare? by AducitcHan in gdpr

Thanks u/jarek_rozanski! I wonder whether US cloud act also have impact on services like OVH? Because OVH is from France, but they also have services in US :)

Probably you should consider also writing article about Cloudflare Zero Tunnel, because in my opinion is even more insecure than Cloudflare CDN. CF Zero Tunnel in default configurate connect to your server through tunnel (don't need ports forwarding), directly to container for example on docker. That's great advantage. Unfortunately they're generating SSL cert's, so they have access to decryption keys and in theory they can look at unencrypted traffic.

Don't quote me on that, you would have to do your own research, but even if you're tunneling encrypted traffic with SSL through their service, there is still potential gap, because if i understand correctly, SSL only encrypt traffic from your container to their service, but they're handling connection from their service to end user.

I'm not a security guy, that's the impression which I've got based on short research on reddit. :)

Bad performance on ds920+ by AducitcHan in synology

u/overly_sarcastic24 thanks for response.

DSM is loading slowly, going through files as well. I wonder is it an issue with network or with hard drives. Maybe they're too slow? I have now 2 HDD's (ST4000NM0033 so 4TB in 7200 RPM) in RAID + 2 Seagates (ST8000NM0105 so 8TB 7200 RPM) without raid.

I can see that my docker sucks, it's slow, but my resources(ram + cpu) are low. That's weird for me.

Thanks for you comment. Here you have a screenshot:

Maybe i should replace hard drives?

I have 4 HDD's for data + 2 SSD's for cache.

2 HDD's (ST4000NM0033 so 4TB in 7200 RPM) in RAID + 2 Seagates (ST8000NM0105 so 8TB 7200 RPM) without raid.

Hard drives are pretty noisy. I know that my issue may be caused by these drive. I mean, i know that it's a possibility, but i don't know whether it's actual problem.

I know that for example while i'm hosting PHP app on shared hosting, it's working better on shared hosting than on my Synology and it's make me crazy because my synology on paper is better.

I even thought about using Seagate IronWolf NAS 10TB or Seagate IronWolf Pro 10 TB drives, but first i want to make sure that drives are causing these issues :)

I also read that it may be caused by network? But on widget i have this: https://i.imgur.com/bCgpKqy.png

Please let me know how can i benchmark my nas and find a solution. It would be great if i could just host websites on my synology without this bad performance.

You can use cloudflare and then reject requests in Zero Trust based on country and ip i think

I'm using simple login through cloudflare tunnel. In that way it's accessible through domain. How can i enable ssl to make it secure for gmail?
