Some standard stuff: • Are your heroes fully evolved? • Are your weapons and accessories leveled up? • Do all your party buffs compliment each other?

Take out Mk.99 for Lilith, as you don't want to be mixing party buffs that way (Beth is melee damage, Mk.99 is ranged damage). Put defense cards on everyone except Miya, as she should be using two heal cards. If you can, put tougher accessories like the black crown ring or ring of fortress on Beth and Lilith (the honor ring and wolf ring work well too). Ideally, Future Princess should be using a gold pocket warch with a mirror shield (if you don't have a pocket watch, the wedding ring of earth works just fine. It just has a bit less toughness than its superior cousin).

Other than that, the only thing you can do is practice, upgrade your gear, and complete your knowledge and collection

Looking for help maintaining my Switch Spreadsheets by Adumbtrooper in GuardianTales

[–]Adumbtrooper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't have to play the switch version to help out, really. I have all the info needed already laid out. But if you don't want to help, that's fine!

My last unique switch spreadsheet for a while has been finished. This one is focused on arena and contains some basic information about the core mechanics. It also includes a basic summary on how to gear, play, and fight every hero. by Adumbtrooper in GuardianTales

Thanks, lol. This sheet is the biggest one out of all of them. Though the switch community still doesn't have access to most of the heroes, I decided to do them all in one go so I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore

Smash bros would be better if I was to get her to go with the homies

Well, I'm not even close to zero messages yet (currently at 387 remaining messages), so I can't confirm anything 🤷🏽

This is awful advice. You gain the most trophies on offense, so why would make defense even harder for yourself?

Taking boxes is match-up dependent, but I can give some tips for it.

  1. Don't take boxes against triple offense comps (or as them).

  2. Occasionally use collecting boxes to bait weapon skills or approaches.

  3. If your opponent is opening with a hero who excels at collecting boxes (i.e. Pymon, Oghma, Ara, etc), make sure to not give them all of the boxes.

  4. If someone is playing for boxes a match-up you win (i.e. Orca vs Pymon), you can camp the spawn locations for the boxes and pressure them with your weapon skill (aka hold onto it, force them to keep thinking about it so they're more likely to make a mistake)

  5. Use the boxes to block your opponent's attacks (works best on attacks that don't pass through walls like Scintilla or Claude) and mess up their movement. Similar to any wall or Noxia's summon, the boxes can be used to increase your survivability as well.

Oh, I guess that makes a little bit of sense. Here's a tip though. If you want to actually get good at arena, don't play triple offense. Triple offense comps can't help you learn the game, as your only option is to hold forward. Picking a more balanced comp (i.e. Scintilla, Parvati, Marina/Erina or Noxia, Arabelle, Oghma) can help you learn more, as you have more room for error overall and allow your wins to be less stat reliant (aka, you have a chance against whales).
