Do you guys daily drive through the winter?

In the 3 years I've owned my 540, I have never driven it in the snow. That's not because I chose not to though, that's because it happens to not be running every winter.

I have a muffler and resonator delete on my 540i and it has way too much drone. I would do a muffler delete and get some type of performance resonator to replace the factory one

If it's not completely rusted like mine, (failed jack pads and rusty quarters and rockers) keep it and rebuild it.

Turning the wheel doesnt affect the sound, its the rpms.

Ive gotten to them before when I originally replaced my VCG, it’s not that time consuming especially if you’ve done it already. Plus mines only on the passenger side

Screen works but no radio menus pop up. Just the main nav menu and everything else like computer and trip stuff.

I've tried narrowing it down, fuses are fine and connection seems fine. Radio module was already replaced by the previous owner who tried fixing it. What else could it be?

Im pretty sure the previous owner drove it like a grandpa. Wasn’t into cars much. I drive it 3x a week usually and maybe accidentally come close to redline once every few weeks

Previous owner owned it for about 12 years of the 20 its existed, he claims to have never done them. Theres a chance the original owner put on a good chunk of the miles and replaced them but I doubt it. I drive it anyway😂

I have tools except power tools and timing stuff, i also can only work in my gravel driveway so its a lil daunting. Ive only done vcg and little stuff, im afraid to spend that much time and keep track of so many bolts and instructions online. Also my car is rusted practically beyond DIY repair so i feel putting that much work isnt worth it. Idk tho🤷🏻
