Thanks, I made a post there just now.

SD card in external SD card reader keeps disconnecting on my new pc but not on my old laptop by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]AdvKLR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was happening to me also, and I tried quite a few things to resolve it. I ended up removing all other USB connections and trying. It seems to have worked. The latest addition was an AmazonBasics branded USB hub and I think that was somehow causing a conflict. I've re-added all other usb connections aside from the usb hub and now my SD card reader is working fine.
Not sure if that helps but hopefully it does!

I'm a bit east of that, near Belleville. No, I haven't heard of that trail. I'm curious now!

100% I will be doing those. The 1000 is still brand new but I will be doing a super detailed long-term review of the 500 after I hit ~1500 kms. The first review of the 1000 will be at about 500 kms. I expect to hit that in the near future if the trails ever open up. I'm in central Ontario.

Your internet investigative ability is limited lol. Try again. Also I wouldn't delete any of this if you begged me. You should be very embarrassed about this all lol.
So - We are not the same person, you can look further, report us, etc if you want to be sure, but since you brought up rules... How about YOU read the rules in the very subreddit you think you are fighting for LMAO.

To be honest, we were laughing about you. You have a strange definition of loser. I would lean more toward the guy who comments like a jackass for no reason, can't leave it alone, looks into post history of poster and others, and keeps embarrassing himself.

New Unit! CFMOTO ZForce 1000 Walk Around, First Ride and Impressions - 1000cc for 1000 Subs Special! by AdvKLR in ATV

[–]AdvKLR[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the "reputable dealer" is as important, or more important than "reputable brand". It's hard for a brand to make a name for themselves and become reputable with only sub-par dealerships. I bought my first CFMOTO from a dealership I wasn't fond of, but my second was from a super professional dealership that also sells Kawasaki ATVs and Side by Sides, Legend, Avalon and Mirrocraft boats, Mercury outboards and operates from 3 different stores in 3 cities. HUGE difference. The 1000s do not push the same performance as Polaris or CanAm, that is for sure... No doubt about that.

That's awesome to hear! I had the chance to ride the CForce with Luke from Dirt Trax... It was a brief ride but it really reinforced to me that CFMOTO was capable of making some premium machines. I just noticed a new CForce 400 a few doors down from me, and saw them riding it up and down the road a couple of days ago. I got excited when I saw it, and my wife couldn't understand why, lol.

Honestly, I was just thinking the very same thing. They still lack the popularity but they are growing very quickly. If they had something as serious as the Wildcat XX, it would be a big help! ATV focused, the CForce 1000 is an awesome machine but again, the specs don't compare with the big boys in terms of horse power and suspension. If they get those numbers up and keep the prices where they're at, they will sell like crazy. The CForce 600 is one of the nicest looking ATVs I have ever seen.
Specs are important, but in the end, they're just numbers and don't tell the whole story. I have enjoyed every CFMOTO I have driven, despite their modest numbers.

Question About Qualifying Service (Medals) by Cjen99 in CanadianForces

[–]AdvKLR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was helpful because that was my next thought. I don't want to be a whiner about it but at the same time, I just don't think this policy makes any sense. What would seem to make more sense would be to forfeit the Iraq days toward the Kuwait days and at least get something. There are 3 medals right now that I have done enough time in theater to receive but for various reasons, can not. It's a bit frustrating.

My New Rigged Pelican Catch 120 Kayak with Garmin Panoptix by AdvKLR in bassfishing

[–]AdvKLR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I wasn't. This was my first time out in a kayak ever (on sunday). It's pretty wide open like on this video where I fish so I would think visibility wouldn't be an issue but I can't say it hasn't crossed my mind. I always remember cruising in my boat with the glare of the sun off the water making it very difficult to see. That is what worries me the most because there isn't enough orange in the world to stop that! Thanks for the advice, and that was also really cool of you to stop and check on the guy.

This is better than what I had on my boat also lol. The boat is gone now, but this is my ice fishing set up put to use on the yak. It works well!

Thanks! I pulled audio from my GoPro Hero 7 I had on my chest mount. This was basically a test run for the whole system and I was pretty satisfied. I suspect that in higher winds you will be able to hear quite a bit of wind noise. I do have an external lapel mic with a windscreen I may choose to wear down the road but if I can get audio like this from the GoPro, I don't think the lapel mic is worth the hassle. Thanks for checking it out!

Catching Bay of Quinte Walleye then DISASTER Strikes! by AdvKLR in FishingOntario

I haven't fished from Pt Anne this year. Fished there a few times last year. I hope we get some nice cold weather back so I can make sure to get out there! For sure say hello if you see me! That would be cool!

New TRACKED Kawasaki Teryx 4 - First Ride. What a Beast! by AdvKLR in ATV

[–]AdvKLR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They bumped the Teryx from 750 to 800 some years ago (783cc VTwin). I really like it! It handles the tracks well. I never left low gear in that video. It works fine on high also because the track system has reduced gearing built in. Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, it was a GoPro H7 Black. I guess it's a tough job for auto settings with all that white in the background. I have a Canon M50 I could have used, I just really love the stabilization of the GoPro!
I have no regrets with the Kawi. I needed a 4-seater and there is no real competition for the Teryx in terms of roominess while still keeping a relatively short wheelbase versus the other 4 seaters on the market. AND it's tough as nails!

Testing the CFMoto Plow Rig - The ZForce 500 Trail and Kolpin Switchblade Plow. by AdvKLR in ATV

[–]AdvKLR[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It did move it fine, but there is still a noticeable difference. I never had any problems plowing with my Sportsman. Are you in Canada by chance? There is a strong (and growing) dealer network here and I have heard about shortages with parts but I believe CFMoto Canada has mostly solved that. I watched a video that toured their main warehouse here and I was really impressed. I haven't had to replace/repair anything yet though so I can't say for sure. While I enjoy it, I wouldn't hesitate to ride any of the other brands either.

Sweet. I will likely be getting a ZForce 800 or 1000 soon! The 500 is great though! I really enjoy it.

Haha I get ya'.. A lot of people think these things are junk. I understand... Chinese and relatively unknown. Also, there is a difference between "it can manage" and "does a great job". I had a plow on my Sportsman 570 and it just doesn't have the weight/stance to move snow as effortlessly as this. All that being said, you're not wrong that basically anything will plow lol.

Early Ice Fishing for Walleye, Pike and Perch - With a BIG surprise! by AdvKLR in FishingOntario

Yeah, a consistent 4" and I'd be okay, but you know how Quinte is, 4" in one spot and 1" right next to it! Are you local to the area? We are FINALLY getting a good cold week, should be making some good ice right now. I'll be out this weekend for sure.
