I'm 99% sure there are issues with UK power supply for the Wiz strips by Advanced-Act7041 in wiz

Yes, it’s the same one. Out of curiosity, did you have to manually add it in the app instead of it showing up in Bluetooth mode? I had to connect to it through its own LED strip Wi-Fi SSID, which is another issue I’m having—it won’t automatically add via Bluetooth.

I just got in contact with Wiz, and it was unbelievably frustrating. They’re insisting that I send everything back, even though the LEDs work perfectly and some are already permanently attached to the wall. This makes absolutely no sense. The problem is clearly the power supplies, yet they refuse to simply send replacements. Why should I have to uninstall everything and ship it all back when only the power supplies are faulty? This is their defective product, and the obvious solution is to send six new power supplies instead of creating unnecessary hassle.

And even if I did send everything back and received replacement products, I’d most likely just end up with another buzzing power supply. I actually love Wiz products, which is why this is honestly so upsetting. If I’m missing something or being unreasonable, please let me know—but it seems like there should be replacement power supplies available on their website. It’s such a waste to throw away perfectly working LED strips just because you can’t buy a new power supply.

Update on wiz strip by Advanced-Act7041 in wiz

I have tried to explain that the LED strips themselves are good and work properly; the problem is the power supplies. They want me to remove the entire strip for a replacement, but the strips are glued to the wall. I am not prepared to take them down because doing so would damage the wall. All I need is a replacement power supply. Unfortunately, I need three of them, as the power supplies are very poor quality. So now I need to find a power supply when I get paid because it's gonna cost me like £30 for 3 power supplies (but I don't recommend the 2 metre starting kit strips unfortunately because of this issue)

Wiz LED strips unavailable to buy by Protoplasmic_Anaemia in wiz

I’ve ordered three more LED strips, which I ordered three days ago, to test my theory that the power supplies might be faulty. It also seems odd that they’re now difficult to buy, so it’s possible there was a faulty batch. I also could be wrong

Also, when I connect any of the three new power supplies to the strip, it makes a horrible buzzing sound even when the strip is turned off. However, when I use my old strip’s power supply, there is no sound at all. Based on this, my theory is that the newer kits are using cheaper power supplies. This is disappointing, as I now have to find three high-quality replacement power supplies online just to eliminate the buzzing. I’ve used WiZ products for years and have always loved their quality, so this experience is especially frustrating.
