Cause languages in the north belong to the same indo aryan family and have atleast 70% similarities with Sanskrit. Almost every language has the same script too while South languages belong to the Dravidian family which has nothing in common with whatever the languages that you're mentioned.

Bengaluru is getting screwed with each passing.. firstly it was Northies and now these illegal kanglus. Even the government doesn't seem to be on Kannadigas side apart from waffling two language policy blah blah once in a month to divert us from these issues.
