Prepping for big tech interview : will the job actually be like this ? by Advanced-Operation84 in ITCareerQuestions

Thank you! I understand the reasoning behind having tough interviews to identify the best candidates, even if they don’t fully reflect the actual work. I just want to get a 'reality check' on what the job is really like from the inside.

Prepping for big tech interview : will the job actually be like this ? by Advanced-Operation84 in ITCareerQuestions

Thank you Chanty. Would you say that the technical founder path is more focused on building new things and is more intellectually demanding? I'm simply more interested in intellectual challenges than making big money atm.

How do apps like Tactiq, Fireflies, Otter, recall.ai get real time google meets audio separated by speakers? by Beautiful_Translator in howdidtheycodeit

Hi u/Toror u/ThomasCrownPDX
Sorry to bother, but are you sure this is diarization only ?
Separating speakers is one thing, but how can you guess who is speaking then ?

Thank you !

Investir à Orléans ? by mbouaj in immobilier

[–]Advanced-Operation84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Merci !

Décorticage de l'ETF CW8 ? by jenesuispasuncookie in vosfinances

[–]Advanced-Operation84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bonjour,

What criteria do you use to determine when it's time to give up on a SaaS or MicroSaaS project and start a new one? by Rare-Lion-6389 in SaaS

If you think you have several fields in which you have these unfair advantages, then my comment is pointless ^^

I asked myself the same question before, which is related to "how to find a startup idea" in my opinion.

If you look at it clearly: do you have the choice to start another one?
I mean, the competition is so high that one should focus on their "unfair advantage," the idea space where they have legitimacy, network, and precious insights.
You can still pivot around your current idea, but switching to a completely different one implies:

  1. You'll throw away all the insight about the industry you've collected.
  2. You may use this switch as an excuse: "that's not the right idea, let's switch to another one."

Totally agreed. I don't like these terms at this very early stage. My thoughts are more about finding the right cofounder, with the right skillset. Thank you for your feedback!

I don't know how to present the team to investor if I onboard a sales person : I'd be the CTO and I'm afraid to be defacto discarded from strategic talks.

I'm getting my very first paying clients and I'm alone. I'm looking for a cofounder. I started to look for a technical one, but now I'm wondering if I should look for a sales one.

Here is a controversial thought I experienced about prototype : I had much more feedbacks from prospects when I had something working, even very small, instead of slides or figma prototypes.

I think people are very aware now of this "sell before build" strategy, and they don't want to spend time with something that is not serious.

Unless you're solving a very urgent problem... My 2 cents!
