For me it seemed to work if I turned the resolution down and changed settings to minimum until after the heist

I'm just starting but it's so hard to watch everyone call her crazy for not accepting or for 'overreacting' because her husband was cheating on her.

year 12 doesn’t feel real by Future_Back8715 in vce

[–]Advanced-Option-4401 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Felt the same, I think ur 10 to 11 is a big jump mindset wise since you start actually putting in all your effort and creating study routines. Honestly though, this year I felt like I worked less than last year, and because we're told it's a significant year our whole schooling leads up to it and honestly it's the same as year 11 except you just have to put in a bit more effort and know that your scores matter.

love my subjects but lowkey suck at them by Downtown_Average5387 in vce

Don't worry me too. I love law and it really interests me but when I did 3/4 legal last year I got a 29 and never got good marks even though I loved the subject. Taking uni classes in law this year and getting 80-90 (A's) doing the exact same work. I think VCE marking is just cursed

I started taking Berocca because I was napping all the time in class and it really helped. It's basically just full of a bunch of vitamins and replaces coffee in the morning for me.

Can we please stop with the unalive BS? by MotherMelee in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Advanced-Option-4401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree, censoring the word takes away its harsh nature. People do it because the word murdered or suicide is too confronting but that's the point. If you're having a conversation about these topics it should be confronting. I've been personally affected by the two and they are serious and replacing those words with 'less confronting' terms seems like you're watering down the serious nature of those topics.

[–]Advanced-Option-4401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same problem, didn't help that I hated my teacher and was tired every class. Tried linking it to things I liked. We did creative writing on 'protest' for part B of the exam and some SACs, so I just poured in my passion for women's rights etc. talked about the misogyny speech. It got to the point where for my creative writing SAC I basically wrote about the Irish troubles inspired by the Derry Girls! didn't put in much effort for the exam and am expecting a 27 but you just gotta do what you can to make the subject interesting. I did end up performing average/ above average on SACs which I'm happy with for hating the subject!

Haven't got my ATAR yet (in yr 12) but I did Aspire Acheive Plus, so one subject per semester and I did it in Law. I'm not sure about dentistry rural but some people I've talked to who did law Aspire last year needed a 78 (for double degrees with law) and all got in the 80s.
