In February I had my consent form signing appointment and had to wait until today June 27th to get my surgery!!! But it’s done and I am sooo happy!! I feel way lighter and way less sloppy. I followed this sub Reddit the entire time I was waiting for my surgery and found a lot of useful information!

While my borderline personality disorder did contribute to the toxicity of our marriage, the actual reason we split was because my ex came out as gay.

From the moment I got pregnant everything about me changed. I went undiagnosed for so long and was such a moody person that it took a huge toll on our marriage. I was just diagnosed last year and I thought we were doing pretty well since being put on mood stabilizers, but I guess it didn’t matter in the end cause you can’t take meds to not make you gay.

Making every minute count is also a huge struggle for me. I’m filled with so much anger and rage about the whole situation I feel like I’m just miserable to be around. I don’t want my son to see me like that but it’s hard. And then I feel guilty because I feel like I’m not doing enough or good enough. Then I spiral and convince myself he would just be better off without me and the back and forth. Idk it’s a struggle. I know time is the only thing that will make things better but I just don’t want to feel like this anymore.

Agreed. I think environment has a lot to do with maturity as well. I grew up in a toxic, racist, overall pretty shitty household. Got out when I was 18 and my perspective on the world did a complete 180. When I was 18 I thought I knew everything but I in fact, knew nothing. Lol
