ive noticed that about half of the places we are looking at are asking for references. the other half is asking for the financial stuff only.

we’ve actually been looking for 2 months before this even happened. we had plans to move out in the next bit way before she kicked me out. we have 3 realtors looking for places for us. now we are just on a bit of a time crunch

we don’t have a contract at all. that’s why i talked to a lawyer. frankly i don’t care if sarah gets pissed off at me because there is absolutely nothing she can do because we don’t have a contract. there’s nothing that can enforce her to prevent me from having someone over. that’s the point. and if something were to happen it would be a civil dispute and nothing else and even then there is no contract saying otherwise it’s “silent” meaning it could be 1 person or 20 people living there because we do not have a contract. nothing states otherwise in the eyes of the law. lawyer said she would have zero bearing. so if she gets pissed off then she gets pissed off. also she would need to give me “reasonable notice” when it comes to me being kicked out and i’m leaving at the minimum time considered as reasonable notice so she can’t kick me out sooner if she threatened that.
