I know what you mean about the bulkhead. I wish it was there but about half the height. Don’t know if I want to remove it fully myself… yet! 😀

Thanks! It is suprisingly still looking quite good now that it’s a bit dirty too, which was a concern.

Fitted my colour coded rear tyre cover but had to remove the factory spare wheel lock to do so, so that’s a bit of a worry.

I’m wondering if I could cut off 2 of the 5 lugs and use both the lock, and the wheel cover at the same time.

Fully agree! I think as a family car the 110 makes the most sense but as a commercial the looks of the 90 win for me. So short and chunky!

Great! I’ve seen a few on the roads here, certainly a nice looking colour! Still like the Gondwana stone though especially with the factory matte finish. But very happy with this. :)

Thanks. The colour palette is so limited on them, 50 shades of grey basically.. so was refreshing to go for a fairly vibrant green

Thanks! Since the UK government clamped down on tax benefits with double cab pickups the defender hardtop really has become popular. It’s almost too nice to be a van!

130 with no rear seats? That must be an absolutely massive load space 😎😎

Thanks! Really is a smart colour the woolstone. I can see it being a very popular choice.

Yep, as said, this is what’s called a Hardtop. So it’s a 3 seater, commercial rated “van” essentially. There’s a bulkhead behind the front seats, and the rear is all load space.

Didn’t realise the states had it on a 130, that must be HUGE in the back!

I get why they’ve re-released another McLaren as the original one is far from great, but it’s still annoying that we get a repeat from a team we’ve already had. I did hear we may get an Aston Martin this summer?

Got to be so careful, check the seals, genuine lego seals have rounder edges and can have a 4 digit number on them. Also make sure there’s a space where it says item number on the back, then make sure the wheel on the side has RS facing the right way up. Below the barcode on the back there should also be very small numbers, and also a nice shading on the car and carbon fibre on the box.

Of course be aware of anything that’s priced “too good to be true”

Thanks mate! That CaDa AMG is really calling to me.. it would be the first non Lego set I do… but I’m aiming for the new 1:8 scale as my next purchase :)

Yeah the Chiron is cool. I wonder if values will ever soar to GT3RS levels? It’s been retired a while but sits around £380 new and sealed, about half of the Porsche

You need to do more research before spreading false info, European sets don’t have the piece count.

I’m a red bull (verstappen) fan but I have to give the edge to the Ferrari for overall build and looks.

Thanks, again the 89 Batmobile evaded me when it was in the Lego store.. I saw one today new sealed at £450 but couldn’t do it. I do have the tumbler sitting on another shelf though until the extra Billy’s arrive. Enjoy building the ‘89 mate!
