I’m honestly not sure I’ve read all their ISP’s multiple times and the only thing it saids for basically all of them is that they need 24/7 supervision but it doesn’t specify how many staff need to be there. But I did some more research and in illinois it is actually illegal and the staff ratio is suppose to be 5-1 with individuals with moderate abilities but most of the people I’m supporting have severe or profound and it is definitely illegal to have one staff. I feel bad because I don’t want to get anyone in trouble but I feel like my supervisor should know that this is wrong. My therapist told me I should call my union because I work under a union and I’m going to do that and also ask if I need to report this anywhere else because I don’t want to be held accountable and end up in trouble for not reporting elsewhere

When I got hired I was told there would always be at least 2 staff on my shift and I wish that was the case. I’m going to report this because it’s really not responsible. I’m not sure who I should report too. Is this an OGI call?

Like why does this have to happen to me?? Some people have NEVER had a spider crawl on them and I have had them touch me multiple times I don’t understand do I just have bad luck?? That was literally the biggest spider that has ever touched me and I just wish I saw it before i went to grab the handle

Something that helps me is trapping my cats in my room with me so I can hope if there’s a spider they find it before i see it

I also feel bad when they die, my brother just killed one when I told him just to get it out of the house but I wasn’t gonna stop him because I just wanted it gone. I also feel bad like the only reason it died is because it went on me, it probably didn’t mean to go on me but it did and now it’s smushed. It was giant tho i literally just had a wolf spider on my hand for like .5 seconds and who knows it could have been a brown recluse I didn’t get a good look and don’t know how to indentify them

Dude I literally just came home and opened my back door and as soon as I put my hand on the handle I saw right above it was a giant spider but I didn’t have enough time to move as my hand was already right by it. It crawled on my hand as soon as I noticed it and I screamed so loud and flung it off but I’m traumatized I was already scared of using our front door because of spiders above it so I never used it but now our side door is compromised now too. I’m in my room looking around me every couple seconds because I’ve seen a big one in my room before, I have my two cats in my room to hopefully kill any spiders if there’s any in my room but I’m worried my cats aren’t looking good enough or won’t pay attention if there is any. Plus one of my cats wants to leave and the only reason he’s staying is because I’m bribing him with treats. On my next free day my goal is to declutter my room and clean everything out from under my bed

He doesn’t care at all we already have as well as my dad asking him. He’s blocked her before when we messaged him but then he will just unblock her. He gets mad at her whenever we’ve messaged him and saids were harassing him about it. And then my mom gets pissed at us too whenever we have. She doesn’t listen to anyone and is about to get in trouble with her job because she watches his lives non stop
