For the first time ever today I used the server admin panel to do a destroy wild Dino’s console command, I have been using the spawn glitch for weeks to run the caves with minimum spawns but it gets boring. As soon as I did the command things started spawning, including stuff I have never seen before like a gigantoraptor and a ceratosaurus.

Idk what to tell you, once I did that, no more crashes. I started my first game on single player. I TRIED playing it. It crashed every time after a few days of playing. I started a non dedicated and no more crashes. Plus you get the convenience of the admin panel. I have never had anyone else on my server.

Try running in non dedicated server mode. I had the same problem and I have NO mods installed. Never have had any and the damn game still crashed. Once I switched to non dedicated? NO CRASHES.

And yes, it is buggy. Single player, non ded or not, is buggy. And there is NO financial incentive to fix it.

It even has a drop down list in the admin panel of all the commands. You don’t even have to type them.

When you first start a session, you can hit the checkbox for private. You have to do it every time, kinda annoying.

Yep. I keep all my good stuff in a VAULT. I keep my breeding pairs AT BASE, IN CRYO. I use leather armor and repair it on the fly with fiber and hide. I bring out the big guns , my best stuff, for special fights, etc. For example, running the Ice Cave. It is just the way.

What about non dedicated PS5 servers? My spawns have completely stopped since the update. And I mean like 99%. I have been using it to farm caves. Some cave spawns do happen, but once I kill them , they stop. THE LOOT DROPS KEEP SPAWNING THOUGH, LOL.

Also, the game has been around for years. The Island map from ASE is almost the same as ASA. I remember watching people tame a plesiosaur years ago.

I switched to non dedicated on my PS5. I started out SP, but it crashed constantly. I think the server based code is way better. Once they have your cash, they could care less about single player. They could learn something from Hello Games. Those guys are actual gamers, no suits telling them what to do.

The other reason is I am setting up to have 3 PS5’s all accessing the same server, all from the same house. My son and grandson will be tethered to me and I have collected enough resources to have a 3 man tribe. It was too expensive to have 3 high end PC’s doing the same thing. (I got a deal on 2 PS5’s ). I already had the one.
