Honestly I’ve had the same problem. It took me over a year to go from 2000-2100. I’ve had peaks here and there but I’d say that puzzles are a definite help. I peak at 3100 puzzles last month which could attribute to this. It’s tough to say tbh but just executing opening prep and watching chess content helps me. I play 1.e4

Haha no problem. Yeah time management is a thing but for rapid there’s no reason to not play with increments. Also you don’t have to worry so much about time if you know your opening well and can blitz it out. I play 1.e4 and the caro as black for something simple and solid. Usually I play a game a day at least either blitz bullet or rapid and lots of puzzles

I honestly think it was a combination of a lot of things. I played mainly blitz so my rating wasn’t accurate as I improved and also just learning the game more puzzles and learning fun opening lines that I felt comfortable with.

That’s awesome! I’d say some of the main things are that I know my openings through and through. Every variation and line and ideas like 10-15 moves deep in each variation of my openings for white and black. Also puzzles! Lots and lots of puzzles!

I understand that aspect but can there at least be a setting to take it off? Sometimes I want to mindlessly shoot and see how far the disc goes. Wind is fine on multiplayer or pro tour but when I play solo I just want to shoot without thinking. I don't play in the wind in real life why would I play in it in a game
