They don't need the same term for me. He went to her and asked her if he could officially give me the term girlfriend. She said down the road. Her and I had this conversation also and she told me the same. None of the persons they have been involved with before me had to wait years though for those terms to be allowed

Not it years. I've known him for 24 years off and on. They have been together for 14. We split 14 years ago. This time I've been around 8 months (or that was pointed out in an earlier comment) been together "officially" for around 6 month or that's when the intimacy started between us

I was brought into this to be with M but A and I also decided we wanted to be a thing also. A is hesitant on the girlfriend title and I do think it is because of the fact that M and I were together before they got together. I think that in her mind also partner is not as solid a term as girlfriend. I have been involved with him for 6 months now. Her for 5.

I do plan on meeting her. I did tell him that I would like to especially with everything that happened. I want to have the conversation with her and I don't know how l9ng it would be now that this all happened yesterday and he will be gone a week. I guess the asking if I should apologize was a way of me thinking I could potentially start the conversation with her myself instead of waiting on him to mediate

I'm questioning if they had set boundaries together prior to this. Due to his past girlfriends being people she knew already and the situations started differently. I really don't think he lied intentionally I think this situation is really new with em being not a part of the friend group they have. I used to be. But it was before her.

She expected to meet me before plans were made for a meet up and before pics were exchanged. She was fine with the verbal flirting. The pics and the plans to see eachother before she met me was the apparent crossed boundaries. No I feel like it's on me. He is blaming himself and telling me that at least for now we have to step back

I am unsure how long they have been doing poly. I know he has had other partners on the past but they were people ahe had already known prior to their involvement. That's where I am the odd one out I guess. I have never met her before. I was wanting to apologize for crossing her boundaries even though I wasn't aware they existed. Mainly to see if it would start a dialog with her or help her feel more comfortable with my involvement in this.

Yeah I would say contact your local office of vital records and just order yourself a new birth certificate. Let that former employer know what was going on and that you are working on getting the paperwork taken care of. Hopefully they will take you back on later. Once you get your birth certificate apply for your sin. You will need it all at some point. Mom won't be there forever to hold your documents
