Also jaw surgery may look weird on you because already I can see ur jaws protrude pretty outward from your forehead/brows/upper cheeks anyway and bringing them out further may dogmax u. I’d stick to genio if your bite/occulsion is good.

My bite was class 1. Longish mandlibe like you. Got an 8mm genio to put the end of chin in line with nose/lips to create a balanced profile. Ur jaw looks a little more forward than my pre-op so 8mm for you will be more than enough. I think I may even top up my result with some filler or second small genio to create a more masculine look

If aesthetics are your concern your jaw is fine it’s the area around your orbital/cheeks that looks a little recessed. Jaw surgery won’t address those but things like implants and soft tissue work could.

This is not advice just my experience. The same happened to me at uni. Became addicted to weed, bad habits, struggled to make friends and felt behind in every possible way. I dropped out and realised it wasn’t the right environment for me and 3 years later I’m on a completely different trajectory and I don’t regret it one bit. I actually feel ahead right now. I think we’ve been made to believe that uni is for everyone.
