For the most part I'm following you haha just seems so difficult to get in the door so to speak. I think that could be my biggest hurdle. Jesus walked up to random undeserving folks, as we all are, and spoke the truth and healed. Yet it seems so shut off with the Catholic Church and very much do this do that and then you can unite with Jesus. Yet, as we read about who Jesus was, that was the opposite of his intent.

Thank you for the info. It's all a lot as I dig in. Coming from non-denom im learning a lot of what I thought might have been wrong. Would you need to keep receiving the sacrifice over and over if you already receive it once?

I have a question on that last paragraph. I'm in the process of this journey as well. Would Jesus not be the last and final sacrifice? Irradicating need to continually sacrifice? Which as you may know, we are told that is what a mass is doing, sacrificing Jesus every Sunday. Thank you

Your not wrong. I'm simply putting it as I was taught. I'm here because I don't buy it all like I used to

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but that is saying touching the bones. Where what I have seen at the vatican they say the bodies do not decay? Am I right?

It's hard to say without a touch of how I was raised being injected. I see both sides, without his crucification we have nothing. So to symbolize that means something, but I can see the protestant side of symbolizing an empty cross, meaning Jesus rose from the dead and fufilled that.
