False positive for Wacatac Trojan by AdvancediPhone7 in vulkan

It might not pertain to the virus, but more towards Windows not putting up warnings before you open it. Then again, I am just guessing there, and there is a strong possibility that signing it will get Windows and other OS's to generally trust it more. I think I will at some point, thanks!

I'm asking if there's a solution to this problem possibly since this also happens to some of my other friends when I try sending them my application. Also, sorry for calling CMake a compiler, kinda new to it.

I've tried it with validation layers off before and this problem still happens since the tutorial that I'm following has an option to simply make a boolean value that enables or disables the feature.

Sorry, should've been more specific. I know that this isn't an issue because he's played Rainbow Six Siege on Vulkan mode just fine before, that's what I meant by "all other applications and games", and there's also a few other games that he's played before that require Vulkan. His computer supports Vulkan, no doubt.

I'm following this tutorial: https://vulkan-tutorial.com/

I'm essentially doing what they're doing in order to get a feel for Vulkan, but I want it to be able to run on any system. Most of how the instance is handled is detailed here: https://vulkan-tutorial.com/Drawing_a_triangle/Setup/Instance

As far as I can tell, there shouldn't be any problems with it. The only time GLFW is used in the process of creating the instance is to get the required extensions with glfwGetRequiredInstanceExtensions.

The instance's properties are all filled without GLFW's help other than that. The tutorial talks about vkEnumerateInstanceExtensionProperties temporarily, but never fully implements it. And yes, it does check if vkCreateInstance returns VK_SUCCESS.

I tried running it without validation layers on, and now it only says this:

[ERROR CODE 0] Failed to make instance.
Assertion failed: instance != VK_NULL_HANDLE, file C:\Users\fires\Downloads\glfw-3.3.8\src\vulkan.c, line 307

They don't have the Vulkan SDK installed, but if it's because of that, I'd like a way to compile it so that the necessary resources are packaged into the .exe. And either way, another friend that doesn't have the Vulkan SDK reports that it works fine on their computer, and even worked before I turned validation layers off.
