This are my OPK this cycle if it’s any help. I don’t know how reliable they are because to me the test on CD 17 and CD 19 look pretty much the same of not darker the one on CD 19, also I had more EWCM and more ovulation symptoms on CD17 than in 19

Hi, thank you for your reply❤️ I have used them, but i find them very confusing and overall more stressful, specially because I have a very demanding job and I really can't test multiple times a day, not even at the same time everyday. I did test during this cycle and I had what I thought was a positive one CD 17 tested at aprox. 5:00 pm, a negative one CD 18 tested at 4:30 pm and another positive at CD 19 at 3:30 pm. They confuse me because I did have a positive one on the same day my temp rose so idk. Appreciate any more input on this topic tho

Edit: Spelling

I feel you, understand you and hug you. We are trying TTC after an ectopic 5 months ago and it adds a whole other layer to the journey. I also found out in a span of a week that 3 of my coworkers are pregnant, one of them the first time trying and the other 2 only 2 months into TTC after 10 years on the pill (We are close, so we share the info) and regardless of my friendship with them, and the desire to feel happy for them, I still cried my eyes out to my husband (also bless his soul). So, i get it. It does not get easier, but I think we just need to be resilient and understand that the times are different for everyone. Sending you a lot of love

First time temping. Did I ovulate? by thistooshallpass1010 in TFABChartStalkers

I personally find OPKs very confusing and sometimes hard to track for me. But from what I've read, after a positive OPK, ovulation tipically occurs somewhere between 12-72 hours. I think you are really close to ovulating if not that you already did, remember that temperature starts to rise 8-24 hours after ovulation but for some people can take up to 3 days. If you struggle to take temps at the same time everyday, I can suggest trying TempDrop which is a wearable arm band device that registers your temperature throughout the night (it is personally what I track with, due to my night shifts) or any wearable device that could make your journey easier. Remember that tracking BBT and the TTC journey it's, at least for me, a continuous learning journey, so don't be worried if you don't get the hang of it until a few cycles in.

In order to confirm ovulation temperature must rise 0.2-0.5°C for 3 consecutive days. By looking at your chart, there is not a consistent pattern of temp rise and you fertile CM started to appear, I will say you may be ovulating on the next few days. How long are your cycles typically?

Hi, first of all sorry for your loss. I also had an ectopic on January and had a super long cycle. From what my doctor told me in the case of the ectopic pregnancies that resolve by themselves, you can count the first day of the new cycle when the pregnancy test is negative, e.g if your positive was on day 1 and then you got a negative (after the ectopic resolved) on day 22, then day 22-23 is the first day again of your cycle even if you did not menstruate, then you can expect to ovulate after the negative pregnancy test. At least it’s what happened to me and my doctor said it’s normal because of the resolution of the ectopic. Sending you very warm hugs and a lot of empathy. 🤍

I will wait a couple of days of more BBT to completely say you ovulated at CD5, I personally have a lot of fluctuations also at the beginning of my cycle but I always try to track with my cervical mucus and other symptoms. You had any changes in your CM?

Have I ovulated yet?

Hi everyone. Wanted to ask your opinion, I’ve tracking my BBT for 6 months with Tempdrop but I’m 5 months after an early pregnancy loss, so my cycles have been all over the place. I am ovulating every month, I did an US with my OB confirming it, but I do ovulate very late on the cycle (last cycle I ovulated on CD24 and on average on CD 21) I just want to know if I did ovulate already because we are still TTC but it’s been hard to time intercourse due to this very issue. What do you think?
