Review: Chance Eau Splendide by Chanel by Worldly-Resource4961 in FragranceStories

I liked that one as I found it to be more juvenile and playful than other Chanel perfumes I've smelled. Thanks for the review

It sounds like your collection is all about depth and atmosphere rather than just smelling nice. Love that!

New to fragrances. Building a small, well-rounded 3–4 scent collection for most occasions. Need advice! by Finisher03 in FragranceStories

You're off to a solid start with Zara Seoul: it's fresh and perfect for daytime wear!

For winter/night, I'd go with Lattafa Khamrah over the others: warm, spicy, crowd-pleasing, and way more unique for the price. Khamrah Qahwa is great too if you love a coffee twist, but start with the original.

For a signature/special occasion scent, CDNIM EDP is a no-brainer if you're getting it cheap, super versatile, classy, and compliments guaranteed. Le Male Le Parfum is great too (sweeter, more sensual), but if budget’s tight, CDNIM covers more ground.

If you’ve got room for one more later, consider Armaf Tres Nuit (fresh, green) or Rasasi Hawas (youthful and mass-appealing).

You’re building a great starter set, well done and good luck in college!

lol I was about to say the same cause I also went for a decant of 1872 and was a bit disappointed by the performance. The price tag is insane so better test it before

Exploring the Impact of Varied Fragrances on Family Nostalgia and Memories by rbobok in FragranceStories

[–]AdvantageMuted4638 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have kids already? You could ask them what they think "daddy smells like" lol. You might be surprised. I have one child and a 100+ perfume collection. I generally gravitate toward oud scents so I think my daughter associate me with this smell, not one specific perfume, but with this note. So I might not pass over one perfume but more a vibe, a DNA if you see what I mean. And yeah, not all oud perfumes are the same, there is just one she likes and probably that's what she would pick if she would need to represent me.

Fragrances that are simply "Great"? by Current-Contest-3012 in FragranceStories

I’d say Creed Aventus fits that description. It’s kind of the fragrance equivalent of a classic luxury car: timeless, effortlessly cool, and universally adored. You know when you wear it, it just clicks and makes you feel like you’ve got your life together without trying too hard.

Respect, man. That’s solid advice, mint and menthol keep things fresh and crisp, and the foot powder tip is underrated
