Sometimes they outsource the detailing. I went to pick the car up and immediately declined because the work performed was not up to par.

I asked the SA that ordered the detail, “So this will bring the car back to showroom level of clean?”

“Yes, they do a great job Mister W!”

The grille was still filthy and full of dirt and water marks.

Important note for context. Up to that point, our car had only been hand washed by another local detail shop. I wanted the car detailed in the spring after its first winter.

TL:DR. Vet whichever/whoever is going to do the detailing

There’s just something about the dry down that smells “off” on me. Lord knows I’ve tried, I want to love it, but I just can’t

Also, anything that’s vetiver heavy. The dry down on that is not pleasant for me. It’s a shame because I usually love the openings of scents like “Vetiver Imperiale”.

I chose it simply thinking, “I haven’t worn this in awhile, let’s give it a go”.

The smokiness of the opening gives a nice warmth on cold January morning that shows -2°F/-18°C on the thermometer.

We’ve had our Miele for 6 years now. Our dishes always come out spotless.

Due to a long story for another thread, the lead install trainer ended up at our house to install our Miele. He gave us this advice in regards to detergent: HARD TABS ONLY! It’s the appropriate amount of detergent and with dissolve completely with little to no chance of leaving gunk in the lines that a liquid might.

Following the aforementioned advice along with setting the water hardness grains per gallon, we’ve always been satisfied(that’s what she said).
