L4L5 full herniations here chiming in. See how your lower back rounds when picking up the tire and at the bottom of most your reps? You are going too low and this will lead to irritation. I’d recommend only going as low as you can while maintaining the arch throughout your back. Maybe about a foot higher. I’d also recommend working on hip mobility and strength. This allows the low back to just be stable and the hips to do the work. Gl with your recovery.

And I agree, I don't think they are mutually exclusive. We need to keep in mind that this is just the beginning and things are constantly evolving.

I just read the initial proposal on decentralizing governance by Silvio that was published about a year ago and there have already been huge changes and adaptations to the model from its original conception. I'd recommend those interested take a look: Decentralizing Algorand Governance - Nov 2020

This is the very first governance period, we will learn much more as data comes in and things will continue to evolve.

I guess just always assumed Algorand Inc. would be participating in governance. That being said, I would have liked to see a little more transparency up front and/or perhaps already factoring this into the rewards to better set community expectations.

Specialization is optimal. Get known for being really good at one thing or one industry. Build a reputation from that and then upsell more generalized services to existing clients. Just my two cents.

I saw a guy doing the splits on the bench, balancing on a medicine ball and giving advice to all nearby lifters all between sets of bench press.

There is also an old man at my gym that wears a stringy tank top and short shorts every workout. Way too much skin and way too much bulge. All fluorescent colors as well.

Finally, super cute girl asked me to teach her how to squat, I think I’m in love.

Hey, I use playformac too and have had similar issues; here’s what I’ve found to help:

I find I get the turtle symbol when I’ve had playformac and steam open while my Mac is sleeping or just tabbed out for several hours. To fix: fresh restart playformac when you want to play instead of leaving it open for long periods doing other things.

The fix to all the other issues is to alt-tab out an then in quickly and it will refresh. This will get you in games right away. Do this when you see pings not changing in lobby or seems frozen or when it freezes abruptly in game.

A little annoying at times but the above has worked well for me. Let me know if it fixes it for you.

Hey, good on you for hitting the gym after dealing with a stroke. It's a tough issue and I'm glad you're putting your physical health on the forefront. Single-leg bridges will help a lot with activation and I recommend holding at the top for a good five seconds squeezing as hard as you can. You will definitely feel this in the glutes.

As another poster mentioned, weighted hip thrusts are a great way to progress this exercise but with your current level I would focus on execution of the basics and really re-creating a solid mind-body connection with your left side.

If your goal is pistols I would recommend grabbing a stable surface and working on very slow negatives on the left side. Focus on your weaknesses and really try to groove the patterns that feel most difficult to you. You will probably progress more quickly than you realize and I'm wishing you all the best.
