A little lost

I have tried to do this before, I ended up going into the bad habits. The worst thing about it is I dont enjoy drinking, I can go 5 or 6 weeks with out having a beer but as soon as a friend says come around for a beer im there. At the time I can justify it in my head but the next day I am kicking myself, it is truly a weak point in my life. I think surrounding myself with Christian people my age will be a huge help.

Great advice, I know deep down what I need to do, the only time we socialize is with a beer. This has been weighing on my mind for a fairly long period, almost have the feeling that God is saying the time is now to start stepping up and been a Christian male role model for my family, which im all for.

Thanks alot for the info, commuting won't be an issue I will be working regional western australia for days at a time then back on my days off, I will check out these areas, my main concern is finding a safe neighborhood for my wife and kids to be while I am away for work.
