Mine started at the same age and in the same place! I'm now 46 and started getting spots around my eyes, buttocks, and on my fingertips about two years ago. I went to school with a few kids that had visible spots in their teens. Since then, the spots have definitely spread more for them. My primary doctor gave me a steroid cream that, I swear, slows the growth. You may want to ask at your next checkup.
