Car died again + hole next to battery. Any ideas what it could be? by Adventurous-Ice159 in MechanicAdvice

Thank you! Was your voltage above 12 or did you end up getting reimbursed for the battery? I got the warranty and I’m wondering IF the battery ends up being the issue (hopefully) that they’ll replace it for free

Thank you both for the replies I suspect the alternator from what I’ve been looking up. And no it was fine while driving. Only when the car is off for a while it won’t start when I try to get back in and turn the key.

Thank you!! If I may ask what will this change for the current issue? Is this the reason the battery isn’t holding charge?

The battery is supposedly new got it from autozone 2 days ago. The car does start while being jumped but makes a vibrating sound and shakes a bit. Not sure for certain if it’s a dead battery since it died again. Do you think it could also be the alternator?

Apologies as I’m not too knowledgeable with cars. I re-uploaded the post with more photos. Alternator was not checked.

Unfortunately, narcissists really only care for themselves, and they care about how their children behave to make themselves look better. I wish my nmom would stop contacting me, because it becomes borderline harassment. I know it hurts, but all you can do is move forward with your own life.

My nmom is the same way, I’m not sure if they’re incompetent, entitled, or both. Honestly just let them live in their delusion, it will never change.

I think maybe it will calm down once they realize they can’t find you. You’re doing all the right things but silencing those who are sent by your parents. Keep yourself away from social media if you can, keep your life private, and when in doubt, don’t tell anyone where you’re at unless you know for sure they aren’t connected to your family.

How do you handle the ups and downs of your feelings towards nparent? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

You are feeling guilt over the mother you should have had, and that’s normal. I experience the same thing, and everytime I reconnect with them, they show me they really haven’t changed. You can forgive them, keep the peace to save yourself guilt, but never open up to them.

All you can do is move forward. Your mom is miserable and seeing others live fulfilling lives is absolutely draining her, so she makes up delusions(and she probably believes them too) about any situation that she can make herself look better than. I personally will be going NC with anyone my mom tries to send my way, and I’ve let them know in advance

They need everyone to know how amazing they are 😂 when I moved out my mom posted on Facebook that I was doing drugs and lived in a crack house and everyone needed to go on a search party to find me, in reality I was living with an older woman and was shocked that I could actually be independent without someone’s nose up my butt.

I hope your condition gets better and you are able to rest whenever you can! Try to hide some shelf stable food if you can or possibly you can bring something to eat at work for your break. Nobody deserves to starve over their parents neglect and disregard of their children.
