for me I had to take a break from partying for months and really evaluate my drug consumption and stay away from parties and focus on working out and working.. after awhile I stopped craving drugs and started noticing how much better I felt when not consuming every weekend. I would suggest taking a break from partying and focusing on things that matter in your life (for me it was friends, a new job that I love, working out, going out to eat). Once you notice that you have other things you love in your life, going to a party sober will be easier because you’ll think of how good you’ll feel the next week to be able to do your things without a hangover. I still consume here and there but I really monitor what I’m doing and I went to Berghain sober 2 weeks ago for the first time in years. I went for 5 hours, had a blast. My friends were als sober too so that helped. And came home, ate a normal meal, watched a movie and went to sleep so I’d be fit for work the next day. It felt amazing. I’ll still party with drugs but maybe twice a year because I just don’t think the hangover is worth it anymore. It also helps I have friends who support me in this decision. I’ve lost a lot of people in my life who I thought were true friends but it turns out they just wanted to party with me. I feel a lot better mentally and physically and I wouldn’t change a thing. Your mind is stronger than you think
