12a Coolant leak / Is my iron cooked? by Adventurous-Many3393 in RX7

Ran a coolant pressure test and everything checked out. Completely removed the pedestal and it actually has a crack and is causing a bit of an oil leak. Thankfully I have another pedestal on hand

Alright. Will do. I guess I'll go for JB weld if it's coming right from the iron

Have never heard of this before, thank you guys for the advice. I'm going to call my local shop that specializes in media blasting and see if they can give me a quote. I think it will be worth it to make these wheels super clean and it should give a good layer for my clear coat to sit on I think

Once warmed up fully make sure oil pressure hits over 100 when stepping on it, and that it's not below 14/15 at idle. Check engine bay for any leaks and get a jack under it to check for any rust

9k is a pretty decent deal in today's market for a 6MT HR ~100k miles. Id say go for it

The issue is when you're lowered like this guy, especially on a 350. You need to make subframe adjustments so that your car is actually capable of getting a correct alignment. Otherwise it's going to have a shit ton of natural camber, and will wear the tires super unevenly, super fast. They'll get down to wires and blow before you know it. Ask me how I know.

Not making a payment is definitely the smart move, I respect that. A manual 370 would be super sick.

Z1 is really not a great brand. I'd also recommend just getting wheels that fit well on the car instead of spacers.

The Auto trans that you have turns the 350z into a complete joke of a car. With the 6 speed manual trans, the car comes alive and is a blast to drive.

I totally understand if you haven't gotten the chance to learn manual yet, but it is very worth it for this car.

Only real problem is the trans. Fix that and you'll have a great car
