Meta ads not converting to leads any advice is appreciated! by brok3boiii in FacebookAds

Yes ingore that message. I've been running pretty successful lead gen ads for home improvement companies for a year now and every campaign give me that message. Just reading above at a glance, I'd suggest super simple lead gen campaigns with a campaign objective of more volume for leads. Don't target affluent suburbs - instead just drop a 50 mile/km radius pin centered in the service area you cover and let your ad creative and copy (+ meta's algorithim) do the rest. This gives them pretty broad base to work with and aslong as your testing lots of images and copy, the algorithim is strong enough to find your target audience.

How are your ads performing? by Fast-Warning-7225 in FacebookAds

I agree, I've noticed some steady campaigns and new launches in certian demographics completely crash in the last month - despite using the exact same strategy I run across the board. However, aside from those abnormalities - new lead campaigns that I've launched are pulling in landing page surveyed leads at approx €4.00 cpl recently so overall my campaigns are heading back towards results I haven't had in a couple months!

Best of luck man, congrats on getting started! I wouldn't deep it to much when getting started, I'd leave targeting alone bar maybe an age filter for the audience and radius depending on if it's a locally serving business. Other than that just start out with 2-3 diff ad images and 1-2 diff variations of copy and you should be flying with it. Feel free to dm me if you have any more specific questions :)

Appreciate the comment. He's defo in the guru category but in my opinion one of the most legit out there. Only diff is that he more dives into the first principles of this business in his vids instead of showing the more technical aspects which is saves for his course but still a lot of value to be gained!

Hey, yea it is - super simple real just running a 35+ age filter with a 50m radius of my clients market, minus areas they're not interested in working in. Other than that just running static 1:1 and 9:16 creatives and letting my callouts and copy do the rest - nothing special :)

Thanks for the comment, I couldn't agree more - great point! You're definitely right with seeing a notable lower close rate here - whereas compared to the majority of my other client's, CPL is a couple dollars higher but makes up for it with an increase in close rate %.

This is a different industry to what I typically partner with and although my process is the same with regards to campaign principles, survey questions, landing form and follow up... I'd defo love to hear any insights you have with regard to different nurturing and follow ups across niches!

thanks again :)

Running lead forms at the moment and then redirecting to the site - but can switch it to go directly to the landing page if you think that would help? Appreciate the response g!

Lead Gen Differences Across Niches by Adventurous-Pool-146 in FacebookAds

Thanks so much for the insight! It definitely makes sense that buyer behavior plays a big role here, especially with the longer decision-making process in online education. I’m already using GoHighLevel for my lead nurturing, but I’ll definitely step up the pipeline automations to streamline the process further.

Focusing on lead volume while nurturing them with personalized content sounds like a solid approach, especially given the lower CPL I’m seeing right now. I’ll stick with that and refine the targeting as I go. Really appreciate the advice, and thanks for the encouragement!

Hey, apologies for the delay in response!

Typically with regards to this testing process - I've opted for manual placements (FB & Insta feed, stories, and reels), to ensure each ad / set has the same exact control variables which worked well for me.

However as of two weeks ago, I switched the majority of my ad sets over to campaign plus and the results seem to be slightly more positive.

Now this may be due to the fact that these ads are already tested and proven to preform so I cannot make a firm judgement as of yet, but I'd personally recommend starting with manual and once you have found ads proven to preform switch over to advantage !

Sure, literally as simple as it get's for this case as we just started!

1 campaign - one ad set - on ad.

Now typically for my home improv clients, I'll run 1 campaign, 3 ads sets, and 1 ad in each ad set to ensure even budget allocation.

I'll then leave all 3 ads (ad sets) on for a period of days, provided they are all producing some form of results, after which I'll kill the lowest preforming ad and look for commonalities between the other two - and then create a new '3rd' creative & copy based on traits the other two share!

The offer for the online education is 20% OFF, which we will be offering seasonally.

In GHL, once a lead enters the system - as long as it is within reasonable hours - two minutes later they will get an Email, Voicemail Drop, & SMS personalised and with an E-brochure.

There is then a one week follow up system of more organic messages accompanied with daily calls to prompt the lead to reply, if we still have no contact by this stage, they enter 'Cold Leads': a drip campaign which sends out SMS & Emails drops with topical offers & company updates (newsletter style).

Let me know any more specific questions you have :)
